Homecoming is an exciting time and our campus is buzzing with excitement leading up to the big game.
Our campus is ready to celebrate how "There's No Place like SLHS!" The following are a list of events for our students and community. Students, for dress up guidelines, please refer to the "Fall Spirit Days/STUCO Activities" paper that was sent out at the beginning of the year.
Monday, September 22nd: Characters/Memes, Movie/TV Characters Dress Up
Tuesday, September 23rd: Duos/Coordinated Pairs Dress Up
Wednesday, September 24th: Decades Dress Up
Thursday, September 25th: Class Color Wars Dress Up
Freshman: Orange
Sophomores: Purple
Juniors: Blue
Seniors: Pink
Community Pep Rally 6-7pm at Memorial Stadium
Friday, September 26th: HOMECOMING DAY, Homecoming Shirt/Louisiana Cajun Dress Up
Alumni celebrating their 10yr, 20yr, 30yr, 40yr, or 50yr are invited to partake in the Homecoming festivities. There will be a cake and punch reception in the cafeteria area of the school beginning at 4:30pm. Guests are to enter through the cafeteria hall on the southside of the campus. Alumni at the reception will receive complementary general admission to the football game. Alumni will be walking across the field at 5:30pm.
The presentation of the court will begin promptly at 6:00pm. Crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen will immediately follow the presentation of the court.
Football will kickoff at 7:00pm.
Saturday, September 27th: Homecoming Dance 7-10pm in the big gym.
Pictures will be taken from 4-6pm and again during the dance beginning at 7pm.
There will not be an additional presentation of the court at the dance.
