Student Profile Name: Madyson Cutrer Grade: 12th Grade Student School: South Lafourche High School Favorite Subject: Math Dream Job: To become an attorney to be able to stand up and make change for those who don't have voices. Q&A Section Outside of school, what are your interests/hobbies? I like going to the beach and traveling random places. What is a fun or unusual fact about you that most people don’t know? I used to collect keychains anywhere I would travel and pin the keychains to where they belong on a map. What school clubs, sports or activities do you participate in? I am in National Honor Society, Student Council, and The Pride of South Lafourche Marching Tarpon Band. What is the most important lesson you’ve learned while being a student in our district? The most important lesson I have learned is that teachers are more than just the school district. Most teachers will help you outside of class and give you extra support for you to achieve the highest you can. What is your favorite school-related memory? My favorite school-related memory would have to be having Lonnie Rousse as my teacher. I had him for physical science and geometry. The amount of stories he would tell us will always be ingrained to my brain. What do you like most about your school? I love the sense of community our school builds inside and outside. If anyone needs help, someone will always be there to support you no matter what. It may be a teacher, student, or administration that will help you figure out your next steps. What’s one thing you hope to achieve by the time you graduate? I hope to achieve satisfaction with my senior year, and to be fully ready for college. What advice would you give to a younger student? Don’t force yourself to fit in for people who don’t care for you. Footer The graphic includes the Lafourche Parish Schools logo and the tagline: "Developing Lifelong Learners."
