Dear Tarpon Family,

It is an honor to serve as principal of a school with such a rich tradition of academic excellence, school pride, and community spirit.

At South Lafourche High School, we are committed to creating a learning environment where every student is supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. We are proud to be the Home of the Fighting Tarpons — a title that speaks to our resilience, strength, and unity as a school community.

This year, we will continue to focus on high-quality instruction, strong character development, and opportunities for all students to shine — whether in the classroom, on the field, on the stage, or in service to others.

We encourage every student to get involved — join a club, try out for a team, attend school events, and take full advantage of the amazing opportunities that South Lafourche has to offer. High school is a time for growth, exploration, and building memories that will last a lifetime.

To our families, your partnership is essential to the success of our students. Thank you for your ongoing support and trust. Together, we will continue to make South Lafourche High School a place where students thrive and dreams take flight.

Let’s make this a great year!
